Job Position: Operation Technician
Scope of Work:
1.
Participate actively in Company HSE programs and contribute freely to the achievement of the Company’s HSE policies and objectives. Through personal commitment and involvement, contribute to the safe and environmentally responsible operations of the Company’s day-to-day operations by complying with all policies and procedures and actively contributing to improvement through hazard and incident reporting and suggesting improvements.

Perform day-to-day (12-hours shift) operations activities and, support / work together with Maintenance Team to carry-out maintenance / inspection activities, in order to meet the daily hydrocarbon production target in safe, efficient and professional manner, and in compliance with all Company HSE requirements and other relevant rules, regulations & policies.
3.
Operate, adjust, troubleshoot and monitor process & utility systems and the wellheads including well testing, X-mas tree valves greasing, etc.
4.
Perform first line maintenance and planned operations activities and, record them accordingly i.e. hard copy, CMMS.
5.
Implement and monitor the Permit To Work (PTW) system.
6.
Support / perform corrective & planned maintenance activities.
7.
To be quick to respond and assist MTL, OTL, Op Sup and OIM in the event of plant or process upset during or after working hours to provide quick response and ensure safety and plant operations are managed well.

Responsible to maintain all safety equipment available on offshore facility (i.e. fire extinguisher, escape ladder, EEBA, grab bags, SCBA etc)
9.
Responsible to chemical inventory (i.e water clarifier, demulsifier, pH controller, TEG, methanol, corrosion inhibitor, Antifoam etc) used offshore. Also responsible to manage diesel and potable water inventory on the platform.
10.
Responsible of the lab offshore and all related equipment and consumables within the lab are replenished or maintained.
11.
To maintain and ensure all test equipment are in good working condition and routine certification and test equipment validity is not expired (i.e OIW analyzer, TDS/pH meter, portable gas detector, mercury analyzer, nitrogen analyzer, portable dewpoint sensor etc).
12.
Operations Tech assigned control room operator (CRO) will be responsible to manage day to day process monitoring and control in the central control room (CCR).
13.
Support / perform non-routine activities during turnaround, facility modification, subsurface work, construction work.
14.
Act as area authority supervising work in assigned areas during shutdown or turn around activities or during routine activities.
15.
Perform sampling and lab analysis of gas, oil and produced water
16.
Perform stock check on materials, part and consumables and make requisition if required.
17.
Perform deck cleaning and other housekeeping work.
18.
Perform cargo handling work including rigging and slinging.
19.
To work together OIM, Op Sup, MTL, OTL and office engineers to update or produce job task procedure, SOP or manual when required and update the latest revision in relevant folders offshore.
20.
Prepare reports (shift event log, handover note, shutdown, equipment defect, etc) and collect / compile data when required.
21.
Monitor contractors’ work execution and control their HSE performance.
22.
Participate in all safety program / trainings conducted on the platform or onshore.
23.
Record and control of the PTW, process/systems bypass, energy isolation, certificates, PSV status, equipment out service status, etc
24.
Act as Damaged Control Team member when there is a need to respond to platform emergency situation.
25.
Implement, enforce and monitor Company’s HSE requirements on all activities.
26.
In the absence of the OTL, senior or experienced Prod Tech will be assigned as Acting Operation Team Leader (OTL)
27.
Stayback (extended stay after crew change) or callback (early return during off days) when back to back is not available due to whatever reasons or during major turnaround or shutdown activities where additional support is required to manage activities.
28.
Any other duties as reasonably directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
