Skills & Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

Five (5) to 10 plus years of advanced NDE and inspection experience in the oil & gas industry.
Engineering Degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
Ability to travel and support sites globally
Ability to provide technical leadership and gain stakeholder agreement
Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards and industry practices (e.g. API, ASME, ISO, ASNT, AWS)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal communication skills and collaborative decision-making skills
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply analytical and statistical methods to inspection data
Demonstrated work experience in applying basic and advanced NDE in the following situations

New fabrication and welding of :

Preferred Qualifications/Experiences

Current or past ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certification or equivalent for Radiographic (RT) film interpretation, Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy current (ET), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic
Particle (MT) examination methods.
In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in PAUT, TOFD, and ILI (in-line inspection) technology.
Advanced degree in NDE area.
Experience in leading NDE technology development projects.
Working experience in oil & gas owner/operator companies or NDE service providers.
Ability to interpret Industry codes and standards with respect to NDE criteria.
Statistics knowledge and FFS (fitness for service) knowledge.
Audit Skills – ISO Auditor / Lead Auditor Certification.
American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Basic Knowledge of the following:Refinery and Chemical Plant Materials of construction
Corrosion and mechanical degradation mechanisms
Pressure vessel, piping, and pipeline fabrication processes
Positive Material Identification (PMI) tools and techniques
Structural steel
Painting, coating and refractory installation
Metallurgy
