Activities
Supply operation for Asia Pacific Middle East

– Monitor and follow-up on shipment plannings with affiliates & suppliers.

– Ensure timely communication of any changes to lifting plan with suppliers and shipping department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

– Ensure the full set of documents (BL / invoice / shipping docs) related to each shipment and archive in TSMS SharePoint.

– Coordinate between affiliates and suppliers to resolve issues relating to quality, demurrage, shortage claims and payment.

– Monitor and follow up on isotanks deliveries with affiliates and suppliers.

Reporting & control

– Update database on a timely basis : Rolling forecasts (affiliates and suppliers) / ICIS pricing files / vetting records / demurrages file

– Ensure the accuracy of prices from suppliers versus the price formula in our records

– To compute price competitiveness file for APME countries

– Reconciliation of lifting volumes in our records versus suppliers’ record

– Update demurrage file and follow up on process and payment status.

– Guarantee 100% shipments are vetted according to the Total HSEQ guideline and are compliant with discharge port regulations & characteristics.

Market Monitoring

– Bring support to APME lubricant business on Base Oil and Maritime market trends.

– Communicate recommendation for purchase and logistical operation optimization

– Monitor TSMS Base Oil supply scheme competitiveness vs local Base Oil options or alternative import sourcing.

 

Accountabilities

  • To ensure supply reliability, operation safety, quality compliancy and competitiveness of Base Oil supply to Asia Pacific Middle East affiliates
  • To ensure vetting for any vessel operation, coordinate with affiliates and suppliers vessel compatibility, process and follow-up demurrages and record documentation for shipment / deliveries for audit purposes.
  • To update internal databases (forecasts / pricing) and external communication tools (rolling forecast, planning) to affiliates, suppliers a timely basis and ensure their accuracy.
  • To be the back-up on the operational aspects for the Asia Pacific Middle East Purchase & Supply Manager.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree (Engineering preferred) in the discipline of Business/Engineering/ Marine time
  • 2-3 year experience or knowledge and relevant experience in Marine supply chain or lubricant field.
  • Good sense of business, analytical mind set, attention to details
  • Good interpersonal skills and adaptability
  • Anticipate, proactive and innovative in optimising work flow
  • Strong knowledge in PC professional applications notably Microsoft office
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
