Job Description

Job Summary

The Technical Services Rigger reports to the Technical Services Assistant Manager and isresponsible to support rigging/inspection/spooling activities of the division under the supervision ofteam leaders or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with rigging and slinging techniques for jobs.
• Perform spooling installation and extraction of wire ropes.
• Understand and comply with safety requirements at various job sites.
• Carry out wire rope inspection after attaining the necessary qualifications.
• Complete administrative paperwork prior to commencement of work at various job sites.
• Compliance to all local and/or international safety regulations and established internal work procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification and Experience
• Preferably with SPM or its equivalent
• Preferably with NDT certifications
• Driving license is required

Skills and Abilities:

• Resourceful, physically fit to lift/carry equipment for jobs
• Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work underminimal supervision
• Good communication skills to converse with clients on job requirements
