We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Engineer, Subsea to join our team in supporting Transportation & Installation (T&I) projects within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and/or review various subsea installation analyses, including:
i. Pipeline installation (start-up, normal lay, laydown, A&R, fatigue, etc.)

ii. Riser and retrofit installation

iii. Stinger profile and ballast calculations

iv. Flexible/umbilical/cable lay and pull-in

v. Spool/jumper landing optimization

vi. Subsea structure deployment/recovery

vii. Misc. calculations (e.g., capstan, buoyancy, crushing, curve stability)

  • Conduct all analyses in both static and dynamic conditions.
  • Prepare or review technical reports and notes.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with client specs, international standards, and internal QC.
  • Attend project/tender meetings and contribute technical input.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver results across projects and tenders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 10 years specifically in transportation and installation engineering.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as Orcaflex, OFFPIPE, Mathcad, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with MWS requirements and international codes and standards.
  • Willingness to travel offshore as required.
