Job Descriptions:

 

Engineering (FEED / EPCIC)

1. Perform activities as assigned by the Project Lead engineer within the allocated time / schedule.

Develop / Supervise the development of design basis and philosophy documents, reports, specifications and datasheets, drawings, schedules and material lists, technical evaluation of bids using inhouse resources or 3rd party contractors.

2. Ensure quality and integrity of all developed instrumentation design and engineering deliverables. Review of instrumentation and control system deliverables prior to submission to ensure that all design requirements are met, fit for purpose and in accordance with the agreed specifications, standards and recommended practices.

3. Execute tasks for assigned instrumentation and control system procurement, package management and ensuring timely delivery, review and incorporation of vendor data, inspection, testing and acceptance.

4. Review and resolve all technical issues for instrumentation and control system, packages and interfaces, interdisciplinary interfaces, vendor liaison, vendor data review and incorporation.

5. Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Provide guidance and support of other peers when required.

 

Proposal / Concept Study

1. Perform activities as assigned by the HOD within the allocated time / schedule.

2. Review the instrumentation and control system requirements for bid proposals, raise clarifications and technical queries, etc. and ensure the integrity of bid technical submissions.

 

Operational Support

1. Perform activities as assigned by the HOD within the allocated time / schedule, which may include assignment as a Lead Engineer for a MOC or operational support activity.

2. Review the instrumentation and control system requirements for MOC, raise clarifications and technical queries, etc. to define scope of work and deliverables required.

3. Review and approval of instrumentation and control system deliverables prior to submission to ensure that all design requirements are met, fit for purpose and in accordance with the specifications, standards and recommended practices.

4. Provide technical support during MOC implementation as required.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering.

2. Member of at least one local or international Professional Society.

3. 5-10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.

4. Relevant FPSO project experience concept development, FEED, EPCIC and operations support

Package engineering/management experience for instruments, control systems and packaged equipment for topside and marine applications.

5. Knowledge in instrumentation, measurement and control concepts used in the offshore oil and gas/marine industry.

6. Knowledge on fire and gas detection, safety instrumentation, functional safety management and hazardous area equipment.

7. Familiar with instrumentation engineering codes and standards in the offshore oil and gas/marine industry.

8. Familiar with classification society requirements.

9. Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,), instrumentation selection and sizing software, instrument database.

9. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

10. Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to company needs.

11. Good problem-solving skills.

12. Having telecommunication system experience and control and safety system configuration, commissioning experience would be an added advantage.
