Safety Coordinator

Job Description

• Minimum 5 years experience in HSE Field
• Possess a valid Safety Site Supervisor Certificate
• Possess a valid Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) Certificate
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company’s HSE policies and systems on-site.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and walkthroughs to identify potential hazards.
• Coordinate and conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction, and Safety Briefings for workers and visitors.
• Support the issuance and verification of Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure control of high-risk activities.
• Record and report any unsafe acts or conditions; follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate inincident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare reports.
• Monitor proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
• Maintain and update safety records, including daily reports, HIRARC, MSDS, and equipment checklists.
• Assist in emergency response drills, fire safety checks, and evacuation planning.
• Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and workers to resolve safety concerns on-site.
