Job Description
- Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification.
- Working day & hour : Monday – Saturday (8.00am – 5.30pm)
- At least 1–2 years’ experience as a Rigger in yard, shipyard, construction, or heavy engineering projects.
- Possess a valid Rigger Certificate (from recognized training body, e.g., CIDB, NIOSH, or equivalent).
- Competent in rigging, slinging, and load securing techniques for lifting operations.
- Good knowledge of lifting plans, hand signals, and communication with crane operators.
- Familiar with rigging equipment (shackles, slings, hooks, spreader bars, etc.) and inspection requirements.
- Understanding of safe working load (SWL), lifting angles, and center of gravity for heavy loads.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and workshop environments.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE compliance in high-risk environments.
- Ability to work under supervision and coordinate with lifting supervisors and site teams.
- Willing to work overtime, shifts, and weekends depending on project requirements.
