Job Purpose
To plan, implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring that construction, fabrication, and installation activities meet contractual, code, and client requirements. Supports QAQC Inspectors and interfaces with construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to manage quality assurance and control processes.
Key Accountabilities:
-Develop, Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, and QA/QC procedures throughout project phases.
-Coordinate and review construction and fabrication activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable -codes (e.g., API, ASME, AWS, DNV, IEC).
-Monitor subcontractor and vendor QAQC activities, including WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, inspection hold points, and material traceability.
-Review and endorse manufacturing and test documentation (e.g., MTCs, NDT reports, FAT/SAT results).
-Verify compliance with NDT, coating, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning standards.
-Manage NCRs, QANs, CARs, and support root cause investigations and close-out of quality issues.
-Lead quality surveillance during fabrication, construction, and offshore installation works.
-Liaise with client representatives during audits, inspections, and quality walkdowns.
-Support dossier preparation and mechanical completion handover in alignment with project milestone
Other Requirements:
-Proven experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects, particularly with brownfield/greenfield transitions
-Solid knowledge of NDT techniques, welding metallurgy, and international codes
-Strong communication and leadership skills in multicultural environments
