Job Description

Job Purpose :
To perform the role of Remote Site Doctor, by providing emergency and primary health care and coordinating the relevant clinical and administrative tasks in keeping with the standard operating policies and procedures of PKA.SOS and Intl.SOS.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Maintain current Annual Practicing Certificate and provide proof on request
  • Hold clinical medicine license or Public Health license
  • Proficient in GP and ER practice
  • Confident, good teamwork, communication skills, pleasant, outgoing, presentable, well-polished, and excellent customer service attitude
  • Professional, empathetic behavior towards patients, their families, and friends
  • Good PC skills (Word, Excel, Internet)
  • Knowledge of primary medical care, including Internal Medicine and General Surgery
  • Familiar with routine and advanced immunization recommendations for travelers
  • Knowledge and skills in Emergency Medicine, including travel-related illnesses, especially infectious ones
  • Technical ability to operate all medical equipment in the clinic’s Observation/Resuscitation room and examination rooms
  • Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude

  • Proficient in Emergency Skills, CPR, and ventilator use
  • Punctuality and good attendance
  • Strong commitment to patient service
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team, ensuring trust and integrity within the team
