The Generator Auxiliaries/Winding Supervisor will primarily work on-site with the Generator team, overseeing Generator Auxiliary Systems and Winding activities. You involve leading team members and completing technical tasks as needed, while prioritizing daily operations to ensure timely and safe task implementation aligned with project objectives. The supervisor will communicate with project and outage managers, engineers, and customers to coordinate efforts, resolve technical issues, and complete Generator activities. Additionally, the role includes supporting service activity planning, documentation, and participation in lessons learned initiatives. Safety is a top priority, with a focus on adhering to regulations and best practices to minimize workplace hazards.
How You Will Make Impact
- Implement maintenance and repairs for Generator Auxiliary systems during scheduled and unscheduled Generator Maintenance activities, overhaul, repair, modification, and upgrade, ensuring adherence to timelines, resources, and quality standards.
- Review and inspect tooling and equipment during the outage preparation phase to meet required standards.
- Coordinate material handling, logistics, and subcontractor activities on-site for relevant tasks.
- Prepare daily shift activities, ensuring clear communication and handover with peers and stakeholders.
- Perform troubleshooting for all Generator auxiliary systems, equipment and windings, support Steam Turbine and/or Gas Turbine maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure timely documentation and submission of reports, check sheets, and spare parts lists during outages.
- Collaborate with project engineers and managers to support outage planning and HSE compliance.
- Provide guidance and training for the development of Siemens Energy workforce and subcontractors.
What You Bring
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least 5 years of experience either in Generator Maintenance, electrical-mechanical systems maintenance and/or working with Generator/ electrical motor windings.
- Experience in Generator winding repair and Auxiliary systems maintenance is a significant advantage.
- Strong manual skills in electro-mechanical maintenance and a willingness to engage hands-on in power systems maintenance across Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings and specifications according to international standards with proficiency in English.
- Good digital literacy and proficiency in relevant IT applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and readiness to take on additional tasks for improvement with a focus on generating better solutions for technical challenges.
- Strong understanding of HSE and Quality standards, with a commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently or in multinational teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
