FS Rigger

Job Description

1. Job Summary

The Rigger reports to the Team Leader/Senior Supervisor and is responsible to support rigging and splicing activities of the division based on production/sales orders.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair and splice synthetics ropes, slings and assemblies according to sales orders.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all items fabricated/manufactured are in accordance to the company’s quality standards.
• Understand and comply with safety requirements at all times.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

3. Job Requirements

• Educational Qualification and Experience
• SPM or equivalent
• 1 year working experience in wire rope sling / manufacturing environment
• Driving license is required

4. Skills and Abilities

• Resourceful, physically fit to lift / carry equipment of up to 40kg
• Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to converse in simple English.
