Field Engineer (Offshore)

Job Description

To represent company in drilling offshore tools and support assembly team while in town. Also to inspecting and installing equipment and technologies, directing crews or workers om site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. To ensure that everything works smoothly and engineering designs are being followed

– To serve as an independent FE (Lead) at field to deliver services to the client. Field environment can be both offshore and land
– To provide on-site supervision including tools preparations, testing, data acquisition, troubleshooting, BHA planning and logistics
– To ensure that the product delivered to client at site working properly and comes with complete documentation and COC reports
– To perform technical calculation including pressure drop calculation, flow split, and hydrostatic calculations
– To working with assembly team in HQ to correctly assemble the product as according to MIT standards. Engineer is expected to participate In testing and verifying the functionality before sending out any product
– To professionally complete all the required documentations; job checklist, job database and reports including End of Well Report (EOWR), SQ Report, Investigation Report and Tool Run Database.
– To ensure all documents and reports are up to date in the server
– To actively engage with client in order to improve services delivery, smoothen rising issues and provide client with best solutions to improve their well’s deliverability
– To positively participate in products’ development and improvement in line with company’s RnD nature of business
– To own good communication and comfortably perform presentation in front of client whenever necessary
– To adhere the company’s policy and QHSE standards
– To avoid violation of any company, client or government rules and regulations
– To identify and propose any improvement activities on quality and safety aspects
– To manage other tasks and responsible as and when required
