Job Description
To assist in the efficient completion of oil and gas wells through continuously collecting, recording and analysing the meaningful solids, fluids, and gasses brought to the surface by mud and providing comprehensive drilling data parameter recording, monitoring and analysis.
• To carry out monitoring tasks in a safe, timely and accurate manner in order to assist in the efficient completion of exploration and development wells for oil and gas.
• Ensure efficiency and cost control by providing the Client with detailed interpretations and analysis’ of geology, oil and gas shows, drilling parameters, pressure parameters and hydraulics during the drilling of a well.
• Constructs detailed Daily and Final Reports based on the data gathered during drilling and completing. This position may also be used for the provision of basic Formation Pore Pressure Evaluation Services.
• Ensure that all equipment and sensors are maintained, serviced and calibrated according to standard operating procedures of Excellence Logging.
• Ensure that all sensors and equipment are performing properly and to the specified requirements of the Client.
• Check and verify sensor instrument calibrations at the intervals specified in the relevant technical documents.
• Ensure that calibration gas and hydrogen gas pressures and validity dates are regularly checked to ensure that there is always adequate supply of these gases.
• Ensure that sensor calibration records are maintained for Client audits and updated as determined in the relevant procedures.
• Be aware of safety regulations and procedures as specified by the Client, Excellence Logging, and relevant safety authorities; respect safety regulations in all circumstances.

Requirements:
• Have working experience as Senior Mud Logger/Data Engineer OR in the Mud Logging industry minimum 3 years
• Successfully complete minimum of undergraduate degree in Engineering, Geology, Science or related discipline from a recognized University
• A good knowledge of conversational English
• Willing to be assigned in remote area: onshore or offshore
