This Job requires the incumbent to work offshore, Sabah waters.
JOB DESCRITION:
1) OPERATING THE AMPLELMANN SYSTEM
Responsible for overall safe operations with the Ampelmann on the project. Operates the Ampelmann system according to company procedures and connects the gangway to an offshore structure in the correct manner. He acts correctly during all emergency scenarios. Responsible for filling the DPR and update the Tool Container Consumption List. He creates a handover for every crew change.
2) TRAINING AND ASSESSING
He ensures that the operators on the project have the required knowledge, expertise and skills before letting them perform their tasks independently. He trains and assess to the required level, monitors their progress, and guide there where needed.
3) POINT OF CONTACT
The Advanced Operator assures that relevant information is shared in a clear and professional aw with the operators, client, PM and other relevant parties. he finds, build, and maintain contacts on the vessel for a smooth operation and connects people to promote information exchange. He is responsible for the daily pre-start checks and weekly/monthly maintenance according to Company procedures and within the correct time frame.
5) OPERATIONAL TROUBLE SHOOTING
he can discover and locate an error. He follows instructions from the OCC to solve issues according to procedures.
6) ADMINISTRATION & DOCUMENTATION
He is responsible for keeping himself updated with the latest company and project related information. Responsible for keeping his certification updated. Familiar with safety programs and submit report after identifying unsafe situations. he submits timesheets on a weekly basis for internal hours registration.
7) ADDITIONAL TASKS
He performs additional tasks related to his role, including but not limited to assisting with mobilizations or demobilizations and maintenance/production activities on location. He can be asked to assist during a training e.g BOT.
