Job Description

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Design and develop piping layouts, schematics, and isometric drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
Interpret marine piping standards (e.g., ISO, etc) and ensure compliance with vessel classification and project requirements.
Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and interior outfit teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
Prepare technical documentation including load schedules, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plans.
Perform material take-offs (MTO) and support procurement with technical specifications and quantities.
Conduct site inspections and support installation activities, ensuring accuracy and conformance to approved drawings.
Liaise with shipyard engineers, vendors, and internal project teams during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and commissioning checklists.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving piping-related issues during construction and sea trials.
Support QA/QC processes and ensure all documentation meets ICF’s quality standards.
Ensure adherence to safety practices and contribute to ICF’s safety culture.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or Piping Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or marine interior fit-out projects.
