About the role
As a Maintenance Team Leader – Offshore / Onshore at PT Bukaka Teknik Utama, Tbk, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance operations for our oil and gas facilities located in Papua. Responsible for leading a team of technicians, you will ensure the efficient and reliable performance of critical equipment and infrastructure, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the maintenance activities of a team of technicians to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of offshore and onshore oil and gas assets
• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency
• Monitor and analyse equipment performance data to identify potential issues and proactively address them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production and operational requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to carry out their duties effectively
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures

What we’re looking for

• Hold a diploma degree (at minimum) in Engineering or Science
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in oil & gas production or petrochemical facility.
• Alternatively, the proposed personnel shall hold Senior Technical High School degree with at least 15 years of relevant working expegas production or petrochemical facility.
• Have minimum of 3 years’ experience of leading / supervising or at managerial level for maintenance team in similar facilities
• Have experience or can demonstrate participation in Job Safety Analysis or Work Permit Risk Assessment, or other equal method assessment activities, as per below: At least 1 documented experience involving JSA or other type of work risk assessment; OR Provide narrative documentation on how to perform risk assessment, explaining the risk assessment general template (activities, hand residual risk), with an example about one step in H2SO4 handling activity from IBC tank to permanent tank using pump
