Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Service team to do service, installation, calibration, commissioning and after sales maintenance service mostly on board of ship/vessel
- Ensure timely execution of job assignments and comply with all documentation requirements for repairs & service activities
- Escalate repair/service issues to factory or principle when necessary
- Prepare service reports or inspection reports
- Researching the market, customer information and related products or services
- Work closely with service administrators to provide service quotations / technical documentations
- Good understanding of EMERSON in Marine Systems and Solutions products offering and how best to apply products in respect of solutions required to prospective customers
- Provide technical backup, customer presentation & traveling to remote customer where necessary and making report to management regularly
- Planning regular customer visit to area of responsibilities
- Provide customer support & follow up
Job Requirements:
- MUST be at least 5 years of working experience as Service Engineer or Technical Engineer in Marine or Offshore Oil & Gas industries.
- Have experiences in EMERSON or any of its competitors products as well as any other FIELD INSTRUMENTS product for Marine, Mining, Metal or Oil & Gas Industries from any company will be an advantage.
- Maximum age is 38 years old
- Minimum Bachelor Degree from Marine Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrument Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
- Hard worker, independent, have initiative to learn, positive thinking, strong team player with “can-do” attitude and go getter
- Self-motivated and target oriented
- Have a good communication and presentation skill
- Fluent in English both written and speaking
- Willing to travel intensively to remote area and on-board of ship/vessel
