Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Produce detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, including layout plans, elevations, sections, and fabrication/shop drawings for joinery, wall panels, ceilings, and other interior fit-out components.
Interpret architectural and design intent drawings into buildable technical documents for production and installation.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy and buildability.
Update drawings based on mark-ups from design reviews, site surveys, and client feedback.
Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control and proper file management.
Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, classification society rules (e.g. DNV,), and shipyard requirements.
Support material takeoff (MTO) processes by providing accurate quantity and dimensional information.
Conduct clash checks and coordinate with other trades (e.g., M&E) when necessary.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant drafting experience in marine, shipbuilding, or interior fit-out industries.
Familiarity with production workflows and fabrication drawing standards in marine environments.
Experience in cruise ship/yacht interior outfitting projects.
