Job Description
– Coordinates with the Chief steward for the day’s activities and requests.
– Ensuring the vessel’s cleanliness and looking after the needs of the ship’s guests and crew members.
– Ensuring that rooms are inspected and done as per procedure, attends to room changes, establishes status of available rooms.
– Monitors and follow-up on expected departures (due-out rooms) with the Medic and the Team.
– Maintaining clean and sanitised menus for guest use.
– Assisting kitchen staff with the preparation of simple dishes.
Requirements:
- Certified T-BOSIET and CA-EBS
- Certified Food Safety / Handling
- Minimum experience of 2 years and above
- Certified OGUK Medical / Medically fit for offshore
- Typhoid & Hepatitis A vaccined
- CoVid 19 vaccined – minimum 3 doses
- English literate
- Hospitality / People Industry – advantage
