General Requirements
- Holder of a valid Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner.
- Possesses all STCW-required proficiency certificates.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on offshore vessels.
- Proficient in oral and written English.

- Bridge Resource Management (BRM) / Engine Room Resource Management (ERM)
- IMIST
- PV1
- SFS
- Compliance with client, national, and international standards as applicable.
- Medically fit for offshore assignments
Job Description
- Implement all Company Policies on board and ensure compliance at all times.
- Motivate and guide the crew in adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all crew members are treated fairly and respectfully; address allegations of harassment or bullying appropriately.
- Issue clear and concise orders and instructions to the crew.
- Ensure that the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) is fully implemented and observed on board.
- Regularly review the SMS and report any deficiencies to shore-based management via the Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
- Report defects or issues that may compromise safe operations or pose a pollution risk to the Company immediately.
- Coordinate on-board training requirements with the Company.
- Review contingency plans and ship procedures, reporting any deficiencies to the DPA.
- Report non-conformities, accidents, and hazardous situations in accordance with Company procedures.
- Ensure that all documentation is up to date and issued per Company procedures.
- Maintain all records relevant to the SMS, as defined in Company procedures.
