  • Short-Term (2 weeks job for shutdown TA in August). Hiring will be in August.
  • Working days/hours: 6 days/week (7 am to 7 pm)
  • Minimum ND in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • Good knowledge in all aspects related to HSSE in carrying out the work.
  • Willing to work both onshore and offshore.
  • Possessing valid offshore medical and BOSIET certification is an advantage.
  • To execute the assembly and tightening of bolted connections using Manual, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Bolt Torquing Equipment.
  • To perform pressure testing and leak testing of systems using test equipment.
  • Selecting correct torque and tension values from Company provided information.
  • Execution of bolt torqueing activities utilizing hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioners, ancillary bolting equipment and hydraulic pumps to ensure that the site equipment is maintained on a regular and daily basis throughout the work scope duration.
  • Maintain equipment in good and proper order.
  • Ensure of the Integrity of the equipment in the perspective of Bolt Load, Gasket Factor and the correct way with safety for the tightening of the joints through analyse
  • Verify the Residual Bolt Load on any bolted joints that have any leak history
  • Analyze the Root-Cause of the leaking flanges/joints of the equipment by looking at total flange conditions in the areas of gasket selection, gasket condition, flange conditions and the stud bolts.
  • Providing technical training of Total Flange Assurance to the clients and their sub-contractors in terms of quality control, dos and don’ts, and correct ways of protecting equipment to ensure a total joint integrity
  • Assist client to develop Flange Management System and implement them
  • Carrying out specified tightening sequence and subsequent tightening passes to ensure axial alignment and squareness of the joint assembly
  • Correct selection and assembly joint components
  • Diagnosis and rectification of problems with hydraulic equipment
  • Selection and correct installation of hydraulic torque or tensioning equipment
  • Correct application of various tightening techniques
  • Completion of a joint record sheet
  • Integrity and inspection checks of completed joint assembly
  • Ensure proper housekeeping (all work sites left in clean and safe condition upon completion of job).
  • To perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
