1) Final Year ProjectIn-situ Rheological Control of Drilling Mud Based on Magnetically Responsive Nanoparticles -Conducted experimental research on magnetically responsive iron oxide nanoparticles for in-situ rheological control of drilling mud, achieving notable improvements in viscosity stability and filtration loss compared to calcium carbonate and blank samples.-Validated the effectiveness of nanoparticle-enhanced drilling fluids, demonstrating potential to improve drilling efficiency and wellbore stability, with results documented in a thesis titled “In-Situ Rheological Control of Drilling Mud Based on Magnetically Responsive Nanoparticles.”2) Field Development Plan Assessing Topaz Field -FDP 1: Acted as Petrophysicist, analyzing data from three main wells (Wildcat, Appraisal 1, Appraisal 2) to determine porosity and permeability from wireline logs and core data with less than 5% deviation. Delivered accurate reservoir characterization and petrophysical inputs that improved model reliability in Petrel and guided static modeling decisions.-FDP 2: Focused on dynamic reservoir modeling using Petrel, constructing drainage plans and production well placements that increased predicted recovery by approximately 8%. Designed completion strategies and production forecasts projecting a 20% rise in cumulative production, supporting sustainable reservoir management and field optimization
Work & Experience
- Developed a well modeling study in PROSPER for an add-perforation with sand zone commingling project, analyzing production performance across two reservoir zones. Modeling results suggested a notable improvement in oil production rate upon add-perforation and commingling of the targeted reservoir sand zones and confirmed crossflow behavior between upper and lower zones under current production conditions.-Executed iWISE 3R Excel cleanup and economic evaluations for PE routine and non-routine activities, resolving data inconsistencies and enabling quantitative assessment of well intervention profitability, which improved decision accuracy across production enhancement projects.-Strengthened technical expertise with the PETEX software suite (PROSPER, MBAL, PVTP, GAP) to perform production forecasting, reservoir–well integration, and sensitivity analysis, supporting future well intervention and optimization decisions.- Actively participated in PE Lockdown and Upskilling Sessions, gaining exposure to integrated sand management, stimulation planning, and well performance optimization, which enhanced understanding of cross-discipline production enhancement workflows.
-Ensured 100% functionality and safety compliance of all fire alarm systems through systematic testing and troubleshooting, contributing to workplace safety and operational reliability.-Performed detailed inspections in accordance with regulatory codes and standards, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain full compliance.-Prepared comprehensive inspection reports that provided actionable insights and supported management in preventive maintenance and safety planning.
-Improved production efficiency and workflow by collaborating effectively with team members and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing equipment in line with company standards.-Consistently achieved and surpassed daily production and shipment targets, contributing to high customer satisfaction and timely delivery performance.- Maintained a 100% compliance rate with safety and quality control procedures, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent product reliability throughout the production process.
