Offshore Medic & HSE

Job Description

This role is a fixed term basis of 12 months.

As an Offshore Medic and HSE, you will be a part of to secure that DeepOcean is committed to protecting the health and safety of all people involved with its activities, with high standards of environmental responsibility and pollution prevention.

Some of the exciting tasks will include:

Medical Care

• Provide medical care and emergency response offshore
• Act as the primary liaison between the Vessel Master and onshore medical support, including 24-hour doctor services.
• Ensure first aid facilities meet required standards and report any deficiencies promptly
• Conduct regular hygiene inspections and potable water testing to maintain health standard

Health, Safety & Environment

• Support HSE initiatives: inductions, training, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Assist with safety inductions for new personnel and reinforce compliance with company standards
• Provide proactive advice to management and employees on health and safety concerns
