1. Standardizes processes for manufacturing core products and redesigns processes to improve throughput and
manufacturing costs.
2. Develops routings and manufacturing FAT documentation, designs tooling and equipment.
3. Supports machining operations with expendables ordering and invoicing.
4. Update area metrics to identify areas for improvement.
5. Reviews routings, DCP procedures and materials and shop tool lists prior to release for manufacturing approval.
6. Creation of manufacturing documentation for use in production areas.
7. Coordinates with area supervisor for on boarding of new personnel within manufacturing.
8. Acts as a technical resource providing guidance and expertise for team members in their daily technical work.
9. May occasionally be called upon to fill in or help handle excess workload demands.
10. Leads and facilitates continuous improvement thru; SIFP, QIPPs, and Lean initiatives.
11. Understanding of customer requirements and ability to identify deviations as they occur.
12. Ability to train others as related to and area of specialty.
13. Provides support to manufacturing personnel and teams in a concurrent engineering environment.
14. Identifies and procures tooling, gauges and fixtures to support the manufacturing of products.
15. Provides manufacturing support in the identification, procurement and management of shop tools for production.
16. Provides technical support to Project and Business Teams and performs manufacturing engineering activities
in a concurrent engineering environment. Performs special projects to support business objectives as required.
17. Must be proficient in design calculations per API/ASME standards.
18. To adhere company HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) policy, rules & regulations.
19. To integrate HSE as part of the job function.
20. Perform Gap Analysis of relevant industries standard or TechnipFMC FAT specification meet process.
21. Perform the readiness task as per Manufacturing readiness level (MRL).
