Supervisor Blasting & Painting

Job Description

• Location :Site Pasir Gudang, Johor
• Working day & hour : Monday – Saturday (8.00am – 5.00pm)
• Supervise daily site activities for surface preparation (blasting) and protective coating (painting).
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, and project management teams.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage on-site.
• Plan work schedules and allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain records of work progress, incidents, and inspections.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to management, detailing manpower, activities performed, equipment used, and any issues or delays.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Inspect surface profiles, cleanliness, DFT (Dry Film Thickness), environmental conditions, etc., with QA team.
• Liaise with clients and inspectors as needed during site visits or audits.
• Ensure blasting and painting procedures (e.g., SSPC/NACE/ISO standards) are properly followed.
