Work & Experience
The engineer is responsible of developing, managing and delivering medium to high complexity technology/automation projects globally. All works to be completed with compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices. Throughout the project, Principal Engineer is also expected to keep track of the project’s progress, including tracking of schedules and costs as well as produce relevant engineering documentations. RESPONSIBILITY & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible to interface with end users and ensuring all project's technological requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution. Responsible for development of automation solutions for various manufacturing processes within the company, including producing conceptual designs, 2D/3D models, simulations, and prototypes. Ensure designed components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry, business and safety standards. Responsible for modification, installation, and commissioning works at site and ensures all procedures within the company security and safety policies are complied. Responsible for recognizing project's Key Success Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints. Accountable for overall project success. Responsible for project risk reviews and appropriate risk mitigation Responsible for facilitating communication as appropriate to all involved stakeholders, including escalating issues to the next level of management Ensure engineering documentations and records are maintained appropriately Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately. Ensure knowledge transfer to necessary personnel when authorized or directed to do so. Ensure that all activities conducted either personally or by subordinates; comply with all Malaysia’s legal requirements and the highest company and ethical standards. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Plan and develop project idea, monitor project progress and set deadlines for tasks, solve issues raised, ensure stakeholders satisfaction and evaluate project performance. Guide team in projects and distributes task and responsibilities accordingly. Design concept ideas on automation cell, robot cell etc. and merge with IoT technology, retrofitting machine to collect data/combined automation and on site robot programming. Design and build HMI, panels etc. for projects and commission them on site with project team.
Technical Bolter for pipelines. Technical Machining on flanges faces and pipe cutting. Technical Leak Sealing on pipelines. Technical Hot Tapping on pipelines. Providing bolted integrity services to the oil and gas industries. Meeting customers, fulfilling requirements and solving problems provided by the customers on technical bolting. Having knowledge of technical bolting (torquing and tensioning) on pipeline flanges. Leading teams of technicians in shutdown projects. General technician with knowledge on field machining and leak sealing services.
