Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily meals that meet crew dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in galley, mess room, and food storage areas.
- Monitor food stocks, manage inventory, and place timely requisitions.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and preparation of provisions.
- Supervise catering staff and ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Cook/Chief Cook (offshore/marine preferred).
- Valid BOSIET/TBOSIET with HUET and CA-EBS certification.
- Medical fitness certificate for offshore work.
- Knowledge of HACCP/food hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
