Job Purpose

  • Supports daily needs of manufacturing as an engineering resource.
  • Creates, Reviews and updates routings and manufacturing documentation, assists QN (Quality Notification) resolution, participates in Root Cause Analysis, develops Standard Work
  • Instructions, defines and implements process improvements and improves tooling/fixturing as required.
  • Ability to train others in the application of manufacturing/engineering practices as related, gaining a mastery of a single area or multiple broader areas of specialty, product and systems.
  • Ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges with impact on the organization, recommends best practice solutions.
  • Assists in translating customer requirements into a viable and competitive manufacturing solution. Be able to assess technical risk and construct mitigation plans.
  • Acts as a quality improvement lead. Help and coach process owners to improve their skills. Functions as SME in the application of design principles as they relate to the assembly, testing and manufacturability of our products.
  • Works closely with Design Engineering, Quotations and Projects in the review of work scope for product offerings.
  • Acts as the approving manufacturing entity for all drawings, work instruction and products. Subject Matter Expert in assembly and testing for oil&gas industry.
