About the job

• Execute maintenance, repairs, and installation activities on rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, and expanders, based on work assignments provided by the site lead or service coordinator.
• Support coordination and communication across work fronts involving clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Perform mechanical work including bearing replacement, clearance measurements, coupling changes, and equipment alignment using precision instruments like dial gauges.
• Handle the dismantling and reassembly of rotating equipment at the job site, ensuring parts are properly identified and all necessary measurements are documented.
• Deliver clear, detailed service documentation capturing technical observations and work completed.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship with strong focus on safety, quality, and operational integrity throughout all tasks.

Skills/requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance or field service (turbo compressor, steam turbine and expanders).
• Comfortable working in offshore or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to field-based assignments.
• Native Sabahans are strongly encouraged to apply.
