Rig Manager

Job Description

ob Responsibilities:

Manage the overall operation, safety, maintenance and performance of the assigned drilling rig.

Ensure rig operations comply with company policies, HSE standards, class, flag and statutory requirements.

Lead and coordinate rig personnel to achieve safe, efficient and reliable drilling operations.

Monitor rig equipment condition and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are properly implemented.

Ensure rig certificates, technical records, drawings and equipment documentation are accurate and up to date.

Oversee Job Safety Analysis (JSA), hazard assessments, Permit to Work (PTW) and other safety requirements.

Manage maintenance and capital budgets and support cost optimization initiatives.

Develop and monitor long-term maintenance, technical and equipment plans for the assigned rig.

Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Project and other relevant teams on rig activities and shipyard projects.

Ensure required spare parts, equipment and resources are available to support continuous operations.

Maintain effective communication with clients, management, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement, auditing and compliance across rig operations.

Support rig moves and other operational activities as required.

Perform other duties assigned by management.
