Job Description
1) Lead and manage overall HSE operations, ensuring effective implementation of policies and procedures.
2) Demonstrate active HSE presence at all working fronts including workshops, project sites and client/vendor locations.
3) Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory and client HSE requirements, and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
4) Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and ensure implementation of control measures.
5) Perform regular site inspections, safety audits and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
6) Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
7) Coordinate closely with department heads and operational teams to improve safety practices and working conditions.
8) Promote safety awareness, participation and ownership among all employees.
9) Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, trainings and HSE briefings.
10) Liaise with clients on HSE matters, prepare and submit required documentation, and monitor site HSE performance.
11) Prepare and present HSE reports, updates and briefings to management and clients.
12) Develop, monitor and report HSE KPIs, safety statistics and performance tracking.
13) Maintain proper HSE documentation including risk assessments, procedures, training records, inspection reports and incident reports.
14) Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including conducting drills and ensuring readiness.
15) Manage HSE Department budget and resources effectively.
16) Update and maintain monthly man-hours records in the system.
17) Perform duties as IMCA Safety Representative as required.
18) Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
