Job Description

As a HSE Specialist (Offshore Drilling Rig), you will play a key role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment standards in an offshore drilling rig environment. You will be directly integrated into the QHSE-SECURITY function.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Support the deployment of HSE policies, procedures, and site requirements.
Contribute to hazard identification, risk assessment, and the implementation of preventive measures.
Monitor compliance with HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture on board.
Participate in incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and observations in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Support workforce awareness through briefings, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure safe execution of offshore activities.
Assist in maintaining HSE documentation and reporting as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to occupational health, safety, and environmental performance.

Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of total offshore drilling rig experience within the last 15 years, with at least 5 years specifically dedicated to independent third-party rig HSE inspections and safety system auditing.
Must have prior experience as a Safety Officer or HSE Advisor on offshore drilling units.
Must hold a valid, internationally recognized safety certification (such as NEBOSH or equivalent).
Must have proven experience in conducting Dropped Object Prevention Scheme (DROPS) surveys and HSE Management System (MS) audits.
