Well Control/ HPHT Specialist (Offshore Drilling Rig)

Job Description

As a Well Control / HPHT Specialist (Offshore Drilling Rig), you will play a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and technically sound well operations in a high-risk offshore drilling environment. You will be directly integrated into the Production field.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Monitor well control and HPHT-related operations to help ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
Provide technical support during drilling activities, with a focus on managing well integrity and pressure-related challenges.
Assess operational conditions and contribute to the identification and mitigation of well control risks.
Support the rig team in applying procedures, standards, and best practices related to HPHT and well control.
Participate in operational reviews, incident prevention activities, and continuous improvement actions.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of offshore operations.

Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ total technical experience within the last 15 years, working directly with HPHT well control equipment
Minimum 5 years’ dedicated experience specifically in third-party rig well control and HPHT inspections or compliance audits.
Must have successfully performed at least 3 HPHT readiness surveys and 3 comprehensive BOP/well control audits within the last 5 years.
Minimum 10 years’ total technical experience working directly with HPHT well control equipment
Minimum 5 years’ dedicated experience specifically in third-party rig well control and HPHT inspections or compliance audits.
